After GV Prakash, musician Hip Hop Adhi to turn hero

After GV Prakash another musician is turning hero in Tamil film industry. Hip Hop Adhi, who is one of the members of Hip Hop Tamizha duo, is rumoured to have signed a film as hero.

Adhi is reportedly acting in a film produced by actor-filmmaker Sundar C, according to a report published in Behindwoods. But it is also said that Sundar C is not directing the film but only bankrolling the project.

The speculations were reinforced by Adhi's tweet. The actor shared a picture on Twitter with the caption "Something coming soon." Here's the tweet:

Adhi and Jeeva are together known as Hip Hop Tamizha. The duo is popular for their rap songs, and they made their debut in Tamil film industry as musicians with Sundar C's Ambala. The songs opened to good responses and it became on the turning points of the duo's career.

The duo then composed music for handful of films including Netru Indru Naalai, Thani Oruvan among others. Though the band consists of the two artists, Adhi has been the face of Hip Hop Tamizha till date.

Adhi has made few cameos in some of the films for which he has composed music, but he has not played a full-fledged role in any films so far.
