Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover announce their wedding date

Bipasha Basu and her beau Karan Singh Grover's relationship status has been the fodder for gossip mills for almost a year now and after months of speculations, the lovebirds have finally confirmed the news of their marriage. The actors, who met on the sets of their 2015 film Alone, have issued a joint statement to announce their wedding date.

The couple has further thanked their fans for respecting their privacy.

Trade analyst Joginder Tuteja took to Twitter to share the joint statement issued by the couple, "We are happy to finally share the good news with everyone. 30th April 2016 is the big day and we cannot thank our family,friends, fans and well wishers enough for all their love and support. The wedding will be a private intimate affair .Our deepest gratitude for respecting our privacy this far .We hope to have your continued blessings and warm wishes as we embark on this new journey together."

But it hasn't been an easy journey for the two actors. If Karan's marital status played a dampener in making their relationship official, even his divorce with Jennifer Winget couldn't bring in much relief as their parents did not give a green signal to the wedding for a long time. But it seems that things have finally fallen into place for the lovebirds.

Even Bipasha's Barsaat co-star took to Twitter to wish the actor and "her handsome bridegroom to-be" Karan Singh Grover all the happiness.
